1000rds – 22 LR Aguila Target Competition 40gr. LRN Ammo Details
Aguila is one of the world’s leading authorities on competition grade 22 LR ammunition. Here’s your chance to stock up on the Mexican manufacturer’s high-quality Target Competition series ammo – perfect for when you want to group tight shots!
The lead round nose is the least sophisticated type of 22 LR projectile. It lacks copper plating to reduce barrel fouling, and its absence of a hollow point means it can’t expand after slapping into a critter. But Aguila’s balanced, streamlined and uniform LRNs do deliver great accuracy! This ammo’s 40 grain bullets lack the propellant they would need to achieve supersonic muzzle velocity, which is why they boast excellent rotational stability and won’t produce a sharp cracking sound during ignition. Just take care that subsonic ammo like this won’t give a semi-auto enough juice to cycle fully.
Whether you’re trying to impress competition judges or knock back empty cans, you’ll appreciate Aguila’s smooth-feeding brass cases, sensitive rimfire primers and premium propellant charges. You get 20 boxes of the good stuff when you order the case!
