Igman Ammunition 62 Grain Penetrator Ammo Details
Are you stockpiling ammunition that you hope you will never wind up needing? Then we’ve got the perfect block to stick into your wall o’ materiel! Igman’s military-grade 5.56×45 M855 ammunition is packaged inside of a newly welded M2A1 steel ammo can, so you can trust it to outlive you by decades!
You may just decide to empty this dry box of ammo as soon as you get it. That’s a good idea, too! Just make sure not to make plans involving a gun range that forbids magnetic ammo and you’ll be right as rain.
Why does this ammo attract a magnet? It’s not its cases, which are new reloadable brass. Its not its high-momentum 62 grain full metal jacket projectiles’ exteriors, either. The frontal section of the M855 bullet’s core is made of steel; a metal that is much harder than lead, of course, and accordingly helps the FMJ burst through barriers like sheet metal and car doors more intact. Not a bad advantage to have during a grave altercation, we think you’d agree!
This ammo is made in the European nation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (formerly Yugoslavia). It is new and noncorrosive – not military surplus.
