10rds – 45 Long Colt CCI Pest Control Shotshell 130gr. 8 Bismuth Shot Ammo Details
The stupid man says “I will allow rattlesnakes to be near me.” The smart man says “I will shoot rattlesnakes that are near me.”
The stupid man says “I don’t consider a 45 Long Colt revolver to be effective for pest control.” The smart man says “I know the 45 Long Colt revolver to be effective for pest control, when it is loaded with the correct ammunition.”
The stupid man declines to buy CCI Pest Control Shotshell ammunition from AmmoToGo.com. You, of course, are about to order several boxes of it.
This cartridge makes shooting small game at close range easy as applesauce thanks to its plastic capsule, which shatters on ignition to release 130 grains of 8 shot.
That’s not just any 8 shot. It is HEVI-Bismuth, which is as nontoxic as steel but considerably denser – the reason why it carries more kinetic energy to its target.
This ammo’s primers? Also lead-free, and antimony-free and barium-free, too, because they are Federal Catalyst primers. Neat!
CCI perfected the aluminum case. It works great, but as any wise man will tell you, it cannot be handloaded.
