125rds – 300 AAC Blackout Winchester Super Suppressed 200gr. Open Tip Ammo Details
Did you just wake up from a terrible nightmare in which you didn’t have any subsonic 300 AAC Blackout ammunition, only to realize that you don’t have any in waking life, either? Then the nightmare is finally over. You just discovered Ammo To Go’s nice deal on fat boxes of Winchester Super Suppressed ammo!
Your 300 Blackout suppressor is not designed to quiet the piercing “KRACK” a bullet makes when it ruptures the sound barrier. That’s the main reason why this ammo is perfect for suppressors. Its subsonic muzzle velocity leaves the sound barrier unbroken, which has the chief effect of optimizing suppressor functionality. Its non-expanding open tip projectile’s lead core is jacketed on its base, too, which translates to appreciably less lead fouling of the barrel and its muzzle device.
One thing a subsonic 300 BO load can’t boast is a flat trajectory. If you’re centered up 1.5” and zeroed at 150 yards, then you can reasonably expect the 0.445 G1 BC bullet to drop around -16.9” at 200. That IS a very high G1 BC for the 300 BO, though. It’s the result of the open tip’s heavy weight and ballistically efficient design, which means there is serious accuracy in store for shooters who can skillfully accommodate so much bullet drop.
