25rds – 12 Gauge Federal High Over All 2-3/4″ 1-1/8oz. 8 Shot Ammo Details
What is High Over All? Why, it’s only the line of ammunition Federal Premium specifically developed for elite competitive shooters. But even if you miss a few times while firing this box of Minnesota-made 12 Gauge ammo, you’ll still love its performance!
This is a full-power shell, loaded with 1-1/8 ounces of shot that achieves a muzzle velocity of 1,250 fps. Federal’s 8 lead shot pellets are all perfectly spherical and 0.090″ in diameter. The pellets will not flatten under intense pressure thanks not just to their high antimony content, but also to the hinged Podium wad which absorbs recoil energy. The Podium similarly protects your shoulder against jarring recoil, and its vented cup splits open to create an even tighter and more efficient pattern.
Clean-burning powder and sensitive primers are hallmarks of all Federal shotshells. But because this round’s smooth eight-crimp hull features a solid brass head – which is phenomenally easy to reshape – it is just as perfect for handloading as it is trap and skeet.
