25rds – 12 Gauge Federal Top Gun 2-3/4″ 1-1/8oz. 8 Shot Ammo Details
Looking for environmentally friendly 12 Gauge target ammo? Federal Premium does load this shell with lead shot, which means you shouldn’t feed it to baby bald eagles. But instead of plastic, its wads are made of paper. They’ll gradually turn to mush and disappear after they’ve lied on the ground for a while. Better yet, the shot’s buffering material is made of cellulose – the same thing paper is made of! So long as you pick up its reloadable hulls, you’re not leaving behind any plastic when you fire off this ammo!
Its non-plastic components aside, this ammo is Federal’s usual – which is to say high-quality – work. Each round’s primer and powder are carefully matched to secure steady recoil and a 1,200 fps muzzle velocity. The hard lead 8 shot pellets were screened multiple times, so they’re the consistent diameter they need to be in order to form an effective pattern. You may not leave behind any plastic, but there will be a trail of crushed clay in your wake!
