This shell is loaded with 1-1/8 ounces of Diamond Grade 7.5 shot. The lead-alloy shot pellets aren’t quite as hard as diamonds, but they do come close thanks to their 8% antimony content. Winchester’s precision sorting process produces beads that are exactly 0.095” in diameter, so they all exhibit interchangeable velocities as they pattern with impressive efficiency.
It’s not strictly about the shot.
