50rds – 45 ACP Federal Punch 230gr. JHP Ammo Details
Punch. It’s not just something that invariably gets spiked at high school dances. It is also Federal Premium’s purpose-built civilian self-defense ammunition, and just what you want for defense against pretty much anything outside of criminals inside vehicles and great bears.
This 45 ACP round’s factory-fresh brass case seats a 230 grain bullet, which bolts out of a 5” barrel at a healthy velocity of 890 fps. The bullet unswervingly strikes with sufficient energy for defense use at ranges past 100 yards. It is also engineered to retain its weight and capacity for expansion after having passed through all but the most obstinate of urban barriers. Without a shadow of a doubt, you are carrying enough gun if it is loaded with Punch.
You would be well advised to keep your ammunition away from moisture. But if that turns out to be impossible, then you can take solace that this ammo’s sealed primers helped keep its propellant dry.
