550rds – 22 LR Remington 22 Golden Hunter 40gr. CPHP Ammo Details
The average human lifespan is 600,000 hours. You should try to spend … I don’t know, like, maybe half of those hours shooting a 22 LR pistol or rifle. Sounds like a reasonable jumping off point to me.
Know what else is reasonable? Choosing Remington 22 Golden Hunter ammunition for all your 22 LR pistol and/or rifle shooting needs. This ammunition is designed to deliver optimal penetration and expansion for small hunting regardless of barrel length (within reason; don’t expect great results if the rabbit is 600 yards away).
The 22 Golden Hunter’s bullet is a classic 40 grain plated hollow point (copper plated – not gold). Upon departure from a rifle barrel at 1,255 fps velocity, the CPHP has the potential to carry triple-digit energy to just beyond 50 yards. Accuracy is certainly helped by the bullet’s plating, which has the right effect on lead fouling, as well as Remington’s high standards for quality. This isn’t their cheapo stuff. This is their good-good.
