20rds – 357 Magnum Remington HTP 110gr. SJHP Ammo Details
Your 357 Magnum revolver is powerful by design. But if you really want to put every ounce of that surly piece of steel to good use during a self-defense scenario, then you better get some decent hollow point ammunition!
This High Terminal Performance series cartridge by Remington is loaded with a 110 grain semi-jacketed hollow point bullet. It’s going to strike a five-yard target with about 33 percent more energy than the minimum commonly recommended for self-defense. But that’s not all it does. When the SJHP’s nose cavity fills with pressurized soft tissue, it produces rapid terminal expansion that can easily double the bullet’s original diameter. The HTP bullet is also durable enough to stay intact until it penetrates deeply. And because its bullet’s nose profile is flat, this ammo is also great for hunting with a lever-action rifle.
Remington promotes more reliable performance by loading this American-made ammo with nickel-plated brass cases. They’re corrosion-resistant, so your revolver will remain ready for action. They’re low-friction, so they extract more easily from the cylinder. They’re also reloadable!
