SinterFire 55 Grain Frangible Ammo Details
SinterFire makes the ammunition you need for tactical and close-quarters combat training with steel targets! This 5.56×45 cartridge features the American manufacturer’s 55 grain frangible bullet, which is made of sintered copper and tin particles instead of solid metals. When a frangible bullet meets with a steel target or other unyielding surface, it disintegrates at the instant of contact. That’ll help keep you protected against splash-back or a highly dangerous ricochet!
This round’s bullet is also lead-free, so you needn’t worry about poisonous dust clogging up the air at an inadequately ventilated indoor range. SinterFire also molds their frangible bullet with a distinctive nose profile, making it easy to tell apart from a conventional FMJ at a glance.
A layman might look at this round’s case and suppose it has already been used at some point, but that’s just not so – its neck is discolored because it is annealed like any other new production case, but simply hasn’t been polished out. SinterFire loads non-corrosive primers and clean burning propellant, which alongside a lead-free bullet promotes a much cleaner AR-15 at the conclusion of a training session.
