Sierra Bullets 55 Grain Polymer Tipped Ammo Details
This 223 Rem ammo by Sierra comes in a box with a big, evil, fanged, glowing-eyed varmint on the front. We’ve never seen so nefarious a rodent in person, but if we do we’re going to wind up keeping whatever Prairie Enemy ammo we have in stock for ourselves.
This round is perfect for popping varmints and predators because it is equipped with Sierra’s 55 grain BlitzKing bullet. It is intensely accurate, with a similar precision drawn jacket and ballistically efficient boat tail to Sierra’s celebrated MatchKing. The BlitzKing offers explosive terminal performance on top of that, however, courtesy of its keen polymer tip which drives rapidly inward when it meets with a varmint’s or predator’s body.
This round’s snappy primer and fast burning propellant unite to give the BlitzKing a brisk 3,215 fps muzzle velocity. Its newly drawn case sports exact dimensions for clockwork feeding and extraction out of a semi-auto.
